Cappadocia is the second stop on most Türkiye itineraries, and one of the most demanding to operate: early balloon slots, weather changes and limited cave-hotel capacity all need local follow-up. We plan and operate Cappadocia programmes for groups, incentives and individual travellers.

What we arrange in Cappadocia

  • Cave and boutique hotels in Göreme, Ürgüp, Uçhisar and Ortahisar, plus larger hotels for big groups
  • Transfers from Kayseri and Nevşehir-Kapadokya airports, and coach connections from Istanbul or Ankara
  • Hot-air balloon flights, with alternative plans when flights are cancelled for weather
  • Guided visits: Göreme Open-Air Museum, underground cities, Paşabag, Devrent and the rose valleys
  • Pottery workshops in Avanos and dinners with folk performances
  • Hiking, jeep safaris and horse riding for active groups

Balloon flights: how we plan them

Balloon flights take off at sunrise and depend on wind and weather; the decision to fly is taken by the authorities on the morning itself. For this reason we plan the flight on the first morning and, when the programme allows, keep the second morning as a back-up. For larger groups we book several baskets with licensed operators and prepare an alternative, such as a sunrise viewpoint or a valley walk, in case flights do not go ahead.

Choosing hotels in Cappadocia

Cave hotels in Göreme, Uçhisar and Ürgüp are part of the experience, but rooms vary a great deal in size, layout and the number of steps to reach them. For groups we check room types and rooming lists in advance, and flag rooms that are less suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Larger groups and conferences can stay in bigger hotels in Ürgüp or Nevşehir, with an evening in a cave restaurant to keep the local character.

Getting there

Domestic flights from Istanbul to Kayseri or Nevşehir-Kapadokya take around an hour and a quarter. Kayseri usually has more frequent connections and is about an hour's drive from the main villages; Nevşehir airport is closer to Göreme. By road, Cappadocia is around three hours from Ankara.

Incentives and events in Cappadocia

The landscape gives incentive groups moments that are hard to find elsewhere: a private dinner in a cave venue, a sunset reception on a valley viewpoint, a hands-on pottery session in Avanos or a guided walk through the rose valleys. We match each activity to the group's size and profile and confirm venue capacities and timings in advance. See our MICE and incentive services.

Typical programme ideas

  • Two nights as an extension from Istanbul
  • A two-night incentive extension with a private dinner in a cave venue
  • Incentive dinners in a cave restaurant

Best time to visit

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) bring mild days and are the most popular seasons. Summer days are warm and evenings cool. Winter is quieter, and the valleys under snow are memorable, but weather-related balloon cancellations are more frequent, so we plan extra flexibility into winter programmes.

Combining Cappadocia with other regions

Most groups reach Cappadocia from Istanbul by a short domestic flight, and many continue west to Pamukkale and the Aegean coast. We operate each part of the circuit, so the programme is planned as one.
