Our head office has been on Istanbul's historic peninsula, in the Fatih district, since 1990. For international tour operators, travel agencies and event planners, we arrange every element of an Istanbul programme, from a two-night city break to a full incentive with a gala dinner.

What we arrange in Istanbul

  • Hotel contracting in the Old City, Taksim, the Bosphorus shore and the business districts
  • Arrival and departure transfers at Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen, with meet-and-greet staff for groups
  • Licensed guides for Sultanahmet, the Grand Bazaar, Topkapı Palace and the Asian side
  • Public and private Bosphorus cruises, including dinner cruises for groups
  • Restaurants, rooftop venues and historic halls for gala dinners and events
  • Meeting rooms and congress venues for conferences, launches and plenary sessions
  • Day trips and extensions to Bursa, Çanakkale and Gallipoli

Where to stay: choosing the right area

The hotel area shapes the whole programme, so we choose it together with the itinerary.

  • Old City (Sultanahmet, Sirkeci): within walking distance of the main sights; well suited to cultural groups and first visits.
  • Taksim and Şişli: larger international hotels with meeting space; convenient for congresses and business groups.
  • The Bosphorus shore (Beşiktaş, Ortaköy, Kuruçeşme): waterfront hotels for incentives and evening events by the water.
  • The Asian side (Kadıköy, Üsküdar): a quieter base with its own food scene, often used for a half-day or an evening.

Getting around: transfers and timing

Istanbul is a large city, and traffic is the main factor in planning a group's day. We plan coach timings around the busiest hours, group visits that are close to each other, and use private boats where the water is the faster and more pleasant route. Istanbul Airport lies north of the city on the European side, and Sabiha Gökçen on the Asian side, so arrival and departure days are planned with realistic transfer times for each hotel area.

Events and incentives in Istanbul

For incentive groups, the evening venue often defines the programme: a private boat on the Bosphorus, a waterfront mansion, a historic hall in the Old City or a rooftop terrace with views over the domes. Each venue has its own rules on capacity, timing, catering and technical production, which we check early and confirm in writing. See our MICE and incentive services and our guide to planning an incentive trip to Istanbul.

Typical programme ideas

  • Classic Istanbul in three days
  • Istanbul and Cappadocia in five
  • Istanbul combined with the Aegean coast
  • A four-day incentive with a Bosphorus dinner cruise and a gala evening
  • Incentive programmes with a private yacht on the Bosphorus

Best time to visit

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) are the most popular seasons, with comfortable temperatures for walking tours and outdoor events. Summer is busy and suits programmes built around the water. Winter is quieter, with good hotel availability for city-focused programmes. When choosing dates, it is worth checking public and religious holidays and large congresses in the city.

Why work with a local DMC in Istanbul

Being based in the city means we inspect hotels and venues ourselves, know the traffic patterns that shape a group's day, and are on hand when plans change. The same team follows your group from the first proposal to the last transfer. Many programmes also continue to Cappadocia or the Aegean coast, which we operate as well.
